ABOUT US

Øredev was founded in 2005 by Jayway, called Devoteam Creative Tech today, a design driven software studio with offices in Malmö, Halmstad, Göteborg and Stockholm.

Øredev Developers Conference incorporates all of the software development process, from programming to project management. We have one aim: Sharing Knowledge, and to do so with quality and vision.

Each year’s event is unique with new topics, new speakers, and new challenges. We constantly evolve and reinvent ourselves.

Øredev is made up of over 100 sessions by 100+ top-notch speakers from all over the world, including keynotes revolving around a theme that changes every year, which attracts 1200+ visitors during 3 days at the beginning of November.

Øredev is put together by 2 people and the program is curated by our Program Committee. We are immensely thankful to them for making Øredev what it is.

We try to keep things nice and equal; the humans behind Øredev boast several nationalities and ages, a variety of backgrounds and hair lengths — or lack thereof. Our differences and similarities remind us every single day that diversity and equality are king and queen. Respectively.
